Correctly distinguishing the advantages and disadvantages of PPR pipes has always been the concern of consumers and users. In order to ensure the rights and interests of consumers and help consumers preliminarily identify the true and false PPR pipes from the appearance and feel, 德国STC summarizes the following methods.
1. Marking: check the marking content of pipes, generally including PPR pipe manufacturer's name (trademark), product name, type, specification and size, production date, batch number, quality certification, etc;
2. Wall thickness: check whether the national standard GB / t18742.2-2002 is strictly followed and measure the standard with caliper;
3. Color: good PPR tube village looks milky white (not all white), the surface is smooth (not smooth), the feel is soft, and there are no impurities;
4. Light transmittance: good PPR pipes are completely opaque, while pseudo PPR pipes are slightly or semi transparent;
5. Sound: the landing sound of high-quality pipes is dull, and the landing sound of low-quality pipes is crisp.

The real PPR pipe shall comply with the standard ISO / DIS 15874.2-1999 plastic piping system for cold and hot water - PP Part II pipe. The properties of fake and inferior PPR pipes can not pass the above standards.
